Throughout the academic year, students of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences showcased impressive results in various competitions, both nationally and internationally. They secured over 70 victories abroad, along with patents for their unique inventions and publications in scientific journals.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, students of Kyiv's MАN achieved over 200 victories in national competitions for scientific and technical creativity. In the city stage of the All-Ukrainian research work defense competition, 1,837 schoolchildren participated, of which 40 became finalists. This information was announced by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondriivskyi.

According to Mondriivskyi, Kyiv's MАN operates in 15 departments, has 77 sections, and unites approximately 4,000 participants.

“The departments focused on security and defense, as well as public communications, are exclusive and operate only in Kyiv. This year, we take particular pride in 73 international victories in countries such as the USA, Poland, Tunisia, Indonesia, Croatia, Romania, and others. Young scientists from Kyiv are developing innovative projects that address contemporary challenges - from IT to security. Six of them have already received patents for their inventions, and around 100 student articles have been published in scientific journals,” Mondriivskyi noted.

Kyiv's MАN actively implements modern technologies, hosting competitions like the “AI Prompt Challenge”, AI hackathons, coding, cryptography, and cybersecurity championships. One of the most original projects is “Kids for Kids”, where students learn web design and Python in English under the guidance of American teenagers, children of Microsoft employees.

This year, 17 students from Kyiv's MАN became President of Ukraine scholarship recipients, over 50 received scholarships from the Kyiv City Council, and three were awarded the Kyiv Mayor's Award for special achievements in the city's development.

In collaboration with the Kyiv Aviation Institute, the academy participated in the national selection for the international Infomatrix competition. More than 60 participants earned the right to represent Ukraine in the final in Bucharest, of which 40 achieved victories.

A significant event was the city intellectual tournament “Knowledge Cup of MAUP”, where over 100 tenth graders from Kyiv and the region competed. The total prize fund amounted to 200,000 UAH.

Additionally, Kyiv's MАN received the status of a parliamentary education center from the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the “Project of the Year” award in the national project “Out-of-school Education: 10 Achievements”.

Overall, throughout the year, the academy held over 100 events for youth, of which 20 were at the national level.
