The National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has launched a new course in the Faculty of Computer Science titled 'FPV Drone Architecture'.

This was reported by NaUKMA.

In this course, students along with peers from the Ukrainian Catholic University learn to create FPV drones from scratch: from assembling components to programming and testing the finished models. The classes are held in a new, modern 3D printing and electronics laboratory.

'Thanks to support from the Ukrainian manufacturer General Chereshnya FPV, students work with real drone assembly kits. This is live engineering, emphasizing precision in details and the freedom of creation while understanding the true power of technology,' the announcement stated.

The discipline is implemented as part of the educational program 'Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics'.

Recently, the Ukrainian company 'Aton Avia', which is developing a reconnaissance drone called 'Furia', announced the launch of its own recruitment campaign to prepare operators for its drone.

They explained that the goal is to enhance the efficiency of combat operations and to increase the number of motivated operators with the military specialty 'External Pilot (Operator) of UAVs' (VOS 216).
