A new educational information platform has been launched in Ukraine to support residents of temporarily occupied Crimea. It collects resources about the opportunities of Ukrainian education for students, their parents, and teachers.
This was announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
On the site www.crimea-ed.org, materials are organized into eight main sections.
In particular, the platform provides information regarding access to general secondary education:
- enrollment in Ukrainian schools, including distance learning;
- exam procedures;
- obtaining educational documents;
- studying at the International Ukrainian School.
The site also offers information on opportunities for vocational education, including a list of educational centers for applicants from TOT and instructions on obtaining state certificates for basic and complete general secondary education.
Moreover, residents of Crimea and other occupied territories can find current information about admission conditions for higher education institutions, required documents, exam specifics, and addresses of educational centers.
The platform features sections on "Curricula and Courses" and "Language Resources and Exam Preparation," where Ukrainians can discover courses on the history and culture of Crimea, preparatory materials for NMT, DPA, and ZNO, as well as resources for learning Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar for various ages.
Additionally, the site provides explanations regarding the recognition of educational results in institutions on TOT.
For educators, the platform offers a professional development project and information about a personnel reserve for working in de-occupied territories.
The platform will be continuously updated with new information, especially in line with changes in legislation, state policy, and recommendations from authorized bodies.
Remember, the Ministry of Education and Science has approved a list of specialties obtained in TOT, whose education will not be recognized in Ukraine.
