This was announced by the app development team.

The Department of Information Technology emphasizes that digitalization encompasses not only transport but also everyday services. The goal is to ensure that every citizen has convenient tools for daily life, as seasonal markets are one of those small joys that unite the city.

In the updated app, users can:

• receive weekly notifications with market schedules;
• view locations on an interactive map;
• find out how to reach the market;
• get information on public transport changes related to the market.

Additionally, users can add markets to their ‘Favorites’ for quick access and reminders the day before.

To enable notifications for all markets, follow these steps:

1) go to your profile;

2) select the ‘Notifications’ section — ‘Active Leisure’;

3) turn on notifications for ‘Market Schedule’.

By adding a market to your favorites, you will automatically receive notifications about it.

Moreover, the Kyiv Digital app allows you to customize notifications for:

• expiration of transport card trips and QR-tickets;
• changes in public transport routes;
• street closures or traffic restrictions;
• curfew reminders;
• parking start notifications;
• updates on petitions you signed;
• air raid alerts beginning and end;
• reminders for moments of silence;
• power outages and restorations in your area.
