Recently, the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv signed an agreement with the charity fund «Superhumans». This memorandum creates new opportunities for the comprehensive rehabilitation of law enforcement officers injured while performing their duties in combat zones.
«Superhumans» is a Ukrainian center specializing in prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, physical and psychological rehabilitation, as well as hearing restoration. The center provides assistance to military personnel and civilians affected by armed aggression.
Thanks to this agreement, police officers in Kyiv will gain access to modern treatment methods based on evidence-based medicine. In addition to medical assistance, the parties have also agreed to collaborate on the social reintegration of veterans and organize support events for them.
«Supporting those who defend our country at the cost of their own health is a priority for our organization and the state as a whole», emphasized the Kyiv police.
Meanwhile, Kyiv received unique rehabilitation equipment worth three million dollars from Japan for people with disabilities.
