It is safe to swim at the beaches in Kyiv.

Health monitoring laboratories consistently check the water quality of recreational areas used for swimming, as reported by the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

As of June 2, the water in the beaches meets the required standards:

• in the Dnipro district — at the beaches «Venice», «Rainbow», «Children's», «Golden», «Youth», «Suburban Slobodka», «Central» on the Dnipro River and «Telbin»;
• in the Desnyansky district — «Troieshchyna» on the Desenka River and «Chortoryi» in the «Muromets» park;
• in the Obolon district — «Pushcha-Vodytsia» on the 5-7 line and «Obolon Island».

It’s worth noting that the swimming season in Kyiv has not been officially announced, but the beaches and water bodies are being prepared for summer. The specialists of KP «Plesso» are already working on landscaping, cleaning the water bodies, and ensuring sanitary conditions so that residents can safely enjoy the shore.
