The office of French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the territorial integrity of Ukraine and its European aspirations are paramount for European countries and should be considered in any agreements aimed at ending the war initiated by Russia.

Details: This comment came in the wake of remarks by U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance, who suggested that both Ukraine and Russia would need to "relinquish parts of the territories they currently hold."
