During the past day, Russian forces launched 189 attacks on the border areas of the Sumy region, resulting in 410 explosions. One person was killed in one of the communities.

According to the Regional Military Administration: "A total of 410 explosions have been recorded. The affected communities include Sumy, Yunakivka, Myropil, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Chupakhivka, Velykopysarivka, Putyvl, Novoslobidka, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, Seredyno-Buda, Zhnob- Novhorodske, and Yampil."

Specifically, in the Esman community, Russian forces dropped 11 mines. Artillery shelling and drone attacks were also recorded, totaling 43 explosions. As a result of the attacks, one civilian lost their life, and a private residential building was damaged.

Two communities that faced massive attacks were Krasnopillia, with over 90 explosions, and Yunakivka, which recorded 105 explosions.

In the Zhnob-Novhorodske community, there were reports of drone-dropped mines and an FPV drone attack. A private residential house was destroyed as a result of the shelling.

In the Sumy community, a strike from an enemy drone caused damage to a private residential building.
