The Ukrainian community in Denmark organized rallies in support of military personnel who are prisoners of war. Protests took place in Copenhagen and Aarhus on April 13, as reported by the Association of Ukrainians in Denmark (AUD).

These demonstrations were part of the international marathon "Voices of Captives." The initiative aims to unite people worldwide in support of Ukrainian defenders held by Russia, as well as their families.

In Copenhagen, the events were organized by the groups "Heart in Action," "Voices of Captives," and "Ukrainian Dialogues," while in Aarhus, the local chapter of the Ukrainian organization "Lastivka" collaborated with partners, as noted by AUD.

In Copenhagen, participants gathered near the "Anchor of Memory" (Mindeankeret) memorial, speaking on behalf of those who have been imprisoned for three years, enduring isolation and inhumane conditions.

A peaceful march took place in Aarhus, uniting participants around a common goal – to speak out, show support, and raise awareness. The city streets were filled with voices of solidarity, posters, and flags, symbols of hope and resilience.

"It was a day of unity, remembrance, and support. Every presence matters. Every voice is a step towards freedom. Together we are strong. Together we do not forget," AUD emphasized.
