In Kherson, on Saturday, Russian troops launched an attack on a volunteer vehicle by dropping explosives from a drone, leading to the death of one man and injuries to two others.
According to information from the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, at 4:00 PM, a civilian vehicle was targeted.
“As a result of the explosion, a 27-year-old man sustained injuries that were incompatible with life. I express my condolences to the family of the deceased,” he stated.
Two other individuals – men aged 30 and 49 – suffered serious injuries and are currently in stable condition in the hospital.
Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson Military Administration, added that the attacked vehicle belonged to the charity fund “Spravzhni.”
“Once again, we have losses among volunteers,” he wrote.
It is worth noting that earlier on April 12, Russian forces shelled a medical facility in the Kherson region, injuring two people. Additionally, in Bilozerka, a local resident, an 86-year-old woman, was killed by an attack from a Russian drone.
