The international community has strongly condemned the recent missile strike by Russia that hit a residential area in Kryvyi Rih.

This was reported by "European Truth" based on the statements of politicians and diplomats on social media.

The Dutch Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans, expressed condolences to the families of the victims and noted: "While all of Europe prepares for the weekend, Ukrainians are forced to live in a state of war."

"This is yet another brutal act of aggression, and one can never get used to it. Therefore, we must expedite our support for Ukraine," he added.

The Swiss Embassy in Ukraine also expressed its support during this difficult time, emphasizing that "civilians should never become victims of conflict."

The EU's chief diplomat, Josep Borrell, highlighted that "another reckless Russian shelling has struck a densely populated residential area."

"Russia continues to destroy Ukraine and shows no interest in peace," he wrote.

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that "Russia seeks escalation, not peace, and attacks on civilians, including children, are brutal evidence of this."

This incident also drew reactions from the foreign ministers of the Czech Republic and Lithuania, Jan Lipavský and Kęstutis Budrys. The US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, in her condemnation did not specify that the missile was Russian.

Recall that on April 4, the Russian army struck a residential quarter in Kryvyi Rih: 18 fatalities have been reported, including nine children, and over 60 injuries.

Later that evening, on April 4, the Russian army again attacked Kryvyi Rih, resulting in a fire in the private sector, with new casualties and injuries reported.
