The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, reports the State Service.
Ukraine and Sweden Enhance Critical Infrastructure Security
The memorandum outlines scientific and methodological collaboration in planning protection and increasing the resilience of critical infrastructure, as well as sharing experiences and best practices to improve protective processes.
MSB Director General Mikael Frisell emphasized Sweden's commitment to supporting Ukraine and readiness for comprehensive cooperation with the State Service. "Protecting critical infrastructure from all types of attacks is key to a resilient society," he stated, adding that Sweden is interested in learning from Ukraine's experience.
Head of the State Service Oleksandr Potii described the signing of the memorandum as a logical continuation of discussions with Swedish colleagues. "This is particularly relevant during wartime... We are eager to exchange experiences with Sweden and are ready to share ours," Potii noted, thanking Sweden for its support.
