French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou believes that European countries should take on the responsibility of supporting Ukraine, reducing its reliance on American assistance.

Details: Bayrou emphasized that France and Europe must "consolidate all possible means to compensate, as much as feasible" for the military aid to Ukraine that the Trump administration has halted.
He stated that American aid is "coming to an end, as entire shipments prepared for Ukraine have been halted and failed to reach their destination," the French government leader said.
Bayrou noted that Ukraine requires munitions, "a certain number of intelligence systems", and access to "communication networks".
"This will compel us to rethink our model, our priorities, and to view the world differently than we thought we knew, which, as we have now discovered, is far more dangerous than we imagined, coming from those we considered our allies," Bayrou stated.
It is worth noting that media reports indicate that Trump’s decision to freeze aid to Ukraine was allegedly supported by all his senior advisors, and that Trump decided to do this after a comment from Ukraine's president about the prolonged nature of the war.
Meanwhile, CNN claims that the United States continues to provide intelligence to Ukraine following Donald Trump's decision to halt military assistance to Kyiv.
