Air defense successfully neutralized 76 out of 101 drones that attacked Ukraine on the evening of January 22. There were recorded hits from 19 strike drones at 12 locations. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via social media.
On the night of January 23, the enemy launched an attack with 101 strike drones of the Shahed type, including reactive drones, from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Donetsk - temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. About 60 of these were 'Shaheds', according to the report.
The attack was repelled by air forces, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 08:00, preliminary data indicates that 76 enemy Shahed-type drones, 'Gerbera', and other types were shot down or suppressed.
There were hits recorded from 19 strike drones at 12 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
