Air defense forces managed to neutralize 126 out of 145 drones used by the aggressors to attack Ukraine on Sunday evening. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 18:00 on Sunday, January 18, the enemy launched 145 strike drones, including Shahed, "Gerbera", and other types, from regions such as Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 90 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 08:30 on Monday, January 19, it was reported that air defense had shot down 126 drones.
There were recorded hits of 13 strike drones at 12 locations, along with debris falling at five locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace, warned the Air Forces.
In Odesa, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged due to the night-time attacks.
