Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 114 out of 138 drones that were used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine on the evening of December 3rd. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 6 PM on Wednesday, December 3rd, Russian forces launched two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles from the Rostov region and temporarily occupied Crimea, along with 138 strike drones of types Shahed, "Gerbera", and other UAVs from the directions of: Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk (RF), and Chauda (Crimea). Approximately 85 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM on Thursday, December 4th, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down 114 enemy UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Hits by ballistic missiles and 24 strike drones were recorded at 14 locations.
