The command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has decided to move units from the settlement of Novovasylivske in the Zaporizhia region to more strategic defensive positions. This was reported by representatives of the Southern Defense Forces.
"Due to the regrouping of troops, changes in the frontline configuration, and in order to preserve the lives of our servicemen, our units have been repositioned to more advantageous defensive positions," stated the Southern Defense Forces.
They also emphasized that in Zaporizhia and southern Dnipropetrovsk, the enemy continues its active offensive operations without reducing pressure on our positions and attempts to infiltrate deeper into the Ukrainian defense.
Defenders noted that measures to block enemy advances and deliver combined fire damage are ongoing.
It is worth remembering that on November 12, the Southern Defense Forces reported that Ukrainian units had withdrawn from Rivnopillya to more favorable lines, while the enemy's advance was halted. Analysts from DeepState indicate that the capture of Rivnopillya by Russian forces has created opportunities for their advance towards Huliaipole from the north.
