The air defense forces successfully neutralized 53 of 119 drones that the enemy attempted to use to attack Ukraine on the evening of November 10. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a Telegram post.
Starting from 6:00 PM on Monday, November 10, Russian troops launched an attack with 119 strike drones of the Shahed type and other UAVs from directions including Kursk, Milleryovo, Orel, Bryansk (RF), and Hvardijske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 80 of these are Shahed-type drones.
The primary focus of the attack was on the frontline territories of Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, and Odesa region.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 11, air defense had downed 53 UAVs in the northern, eastern, and southern parts of Ukraine.
There were 59 recorded strikes from attack drones at 18 locations, as well as debris from downed targets at one location.
The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace, as warned by the Air Forces.
