Following the evening attack on November 9, the air defense forces managed to neutralize 52 out of 67 drones used by the aggressor. This information was shared by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Forces on Telegram.
The evening assaults began at 6:30 PM on Sunday, when the enemy launched two Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles from the Tambov region, along with five S-300/S-400 missiles from the Kursk region, and 67 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types from various directions: Kursk, Milleryovo, Oryol, Bryansk (RF), and Hvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with around 40 of them being Shahed drones.
The Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled the aerial attack using aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 9:30 AM on Monday, November 10, the air defense was reported to have shot down or suppressed 52 UAVs in the east, south, and central regions of the country.
Fifteen strike drones were confirmed hit at nine locations.
Information regarding missiles is being clarified, and no data about falls or hits has been reported, noted the Air Forces.
