Ukraine's air defense has successfully neutralized 108 out of 135 drones launched by Russian forces against the country on the evening of November 5. This information was shared by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
From 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, the enemy launched an attack on Ukraine with 135 strike UAVs, including Shahed, "Herbera", and other types from directions such as Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo. Approximately 90 of these were Shahed drones.
The defense was supported by aviation, anti-aircraft rocket troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 6, it was reported that the air defense had destroyed/neutralized 108 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Incidents of 27 strike drones hitting 13 different locations were recorded.
