The Ukrainian defense forces successfully neutralized 93 enemy drones launched by Russian military toward Ukraine, with hits recorded in ten locations. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
On the night of October 29 (from 19:00 on October 28), the adversary deployed 126 strike UAVs, including types Shahed, Gerber, and others, from various directions: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Donetsk, Chauda, Hvardijske – TOT Ukraine, with about 80 of them being “Shaheds”.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense managed to down/suppress 93 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber types and others in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Hits by 32 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
