During the recent attack that occurred on October 26, the Ukrainian air defense successfully neutralized 66 enemy drones of various types out of 100 launched by Russia. This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force Command on social media.
On the night of October 27, the enemy launched an attack with 100 strike drones including Shahed, "Gerbera," and other types from Russian territories like Kursk and Oryol. Approximately 70 of these were Shaheds.
The defense was supported by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Preliminary data as of 09:00 indicates that the air defense has shot down or suppressed 66 enemy drones operating in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
It was reported that 26 strike drones were hit at 9 different locations. The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
