The defense forces successfully neutralized four ballistic missiles and 50 drones launched by the Russian army during the night on Saturday. The attacks occurred at 11 different locations where enemy strikes were recorded. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
According to military sources, from 7:00 PM on Friday, October 24, Russian invaders fired a total of nine Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Kursk regions, as well as 62 drones, including Shahed and ‘Herbera’, from the directions of their cities Kursk and Orel and the temporarily occupied Hvardeyskyi (ARC Crimea). About 40 of these enemy drones were of the Shahed type.
The air attack was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
Preliminary data shows that as of 9:00 AM on Saturday, the air defense intercepted or jammed four ballistic missiles and 50 enemy drones of various types in the north, south, and east of the country.
At 11 locations, hits from five ballistic missiles and 12 strike UAVs were recorded. Additionally, debris from downed targets was found at four other locations. The Air Forces emphasize: the enemy attack continues, and several Russian drones are still detected in the skies over Ukraine.
