Ukraine's air defense successfully neutralized 58 out of 98 drones launched by aggressors on the evening of October 20. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via their Telegram channel.
According to the information, starting from 7 PM on Monday, October 20, Russian forces launched an attack with two ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23" from the Bryansk region, four S-300 guided missiles from the Kursk region, and 98 strike UAVs, including Shahed, "Gerbera", and other types from various directions: Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda, Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 70 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air strike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, October 21, preliminary data indicates that the air defense has shot down or suppressed 58 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Hits from missiles and 37 strike UAVs were recorded at 10 locations, along with debris from downed targets at two locations. The attack continues, and several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
