Since the evening of October 12, the air defense forces have neutralized 69 out of 82 Russian drones. The Ukrainian Air Force reported this via Telegram.
Starting at 8:00 PM on October 12, the Russians launched an attack with 82 combat UAVs of the Shahed type, "Herbera," and other types from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 50 of them are strike UAVs.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9:00 AM on Monday, October 13, the air defense has shot down/suppressed 69 drones in the northern, eastern, and southern regions of Ukraine.
Reported hits included 13 strike UAVs at seven locations, as well as debris from downed targets at two locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace, warned the Air Force.
