Due to Russian strikes overnight on Thursday, September 25th, there have been power outages across several railway sections. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, train operations are currently being maintained with backup diesel locomotives.

“Fortunately, there are no casualties, but infrastructure has sustained damage,” noted representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia.

As of 08:00, train movements continue under the control of backup locomotives, albeit with delays reported for the following services:

  • №53/54 Odesa-Glavna - Dnipro-Glavny (+5:09);
  • №253/254 Odesa-Glavna - Kryvyi Rih-Glavny (+5:09);
  • №7/8 Odesa-Glavna - Kharkiv-Pas. (+4:47);
  • №147/148 Kyiv-Pas. - Odesa-Glavna (+2:01);
  • №127/128 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:18);
  • №31/32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:17);
  • №51/52 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Odesa-Glavna (+1:10);
  • №91/92 Odesa-Glavna - Kramatorsk (+1:02).

As a result of the attacks, certain railway sections in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions have also experienced power outages.
