The Ukrainian Air Force reported that 126 out of 152 Russian drones were neutralized during the latest attack. This incident began at 6 PM on Tuesday, September 23, when Russian forces deployed 152 drones, including Shahed and other types, launched from various directions such as Kursk, Orel, and the occupied Crimea, specifically from Hvardiske. About 80 of these drones were of the Shahed type.
In response to the aerial threat, Ukrainian defense utilized aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups. Preliminary data as of 9 AM Wednesday, September 24, indicates that 126 UAVs were downed across northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of the country.
During the attack, 26 hits were recorded at 7 locations, with debris falling in 2 areas. The Russian Army targeted an energy infrastructure facility in Kharkiv with 18 UAVs, resulting in power supply disruptions and issues with ground electric transport in two districts.
