The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 89 out of 113 drones launched by Russian forces on the evening of September 15.

Starting from 8:00 PM on Monday, September 15, Russian forces attacked using 113 strike drones of the Shahed type, "Gerbera", and other models launched from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Milleryovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The defense was supported by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and drone systems of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 16, it was reported that Ukrainian air defense had shot down or suppressed 89 drones in the north, south, east, and central parts of the country.
22 strike drones were detected at six locations, with debris falling in two spots. Two enemy drones remain airborne.
Additionally, around midnight, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with 10 shells from multiple launch rocket systems (preliminarily, "Tornado-S"). There are casualties and injuries.
