Due to an emergency situation, several trains passing through Boyarka in the Kyiv region will temporarily change their routes.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia on their Facebook page.

"Due to infrastructure damage in the vicinity of Kyiv caused by the emergency situation, some trains that pass through the Boyarka station will operate on altered routes," the post stated.

The company emphasized that passenger and crew safety is currently their priority.

"Additional information regarding schedule changes will be provided later," they added.

Shortly after, railway workers clarified that trains heading toward Koziatyn and Berdychiv will go through Korosten, while those on the Fastiv route will divert through Myronivka and Trypillia-Dniprovske.

"Yes, train No. 23 Kyiv - Chełm is already traveling on an altered route through Korosten with delays, and the train will be expedited to reduce this delay. Passengers from Berdychiv station will be picked up by our train No. 31 with a subsequent transfer," the company stated.

Train No. 139 Kyiv - Kamianets-Podilskyi, No. 141/143 Sumy, Chernihiv - Rakhiv, and No. 21/103 Kramatorsk, Kharkiv - Lviv will also be redirected on altered routes.

Meanwhile, the head of the Kyiv OVA Mykola Kalashnikov informed, "The explosions heard by residents of the region are not related to enemy aerial attacks." He emphasized that there were no enemy aerial targets recorded in the region, and an air alert was not declared.

"Emergency services are working at the site. All necessary actions are being taken. More detailed information will be provided later," Kalashnikov noted.

Earlier, information about strong explosions in Kyiv region appeared on social media.

As reported, in July, Ukrzaliznytsia altered schedules for several passenger trains due to stormy weather conditions in Transcarpathia, as well as in Slovakia and Hungary.
