The Air Defense Forces of Ukraine have successfully neutralized 60 out of 84 enemy drones launched by the Russian military.
This was reported by the command of the Ukrainian Air Force via their official Telegram channel.
Starting from the evening of September 8, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 84 strike UAVs, including models such as Shahed and Gerbera, launched from various locations including Bryansk and Kursk.
In defense of the country, aviation, anti-aircraft systems, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were deployed.
As of the morning of September 9, the air defense had shot down 60 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions, with 23 impacts recorded at 10 different sites.
