The air defense forces have neutralized 430 Russian drones, along with 14 Kalibr cruise missiles and seven X-101 missiles.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

Starting from 4:00 PM on September 2, the Russians began attacking Ukraine using strike UAVs and air and sea-launched missiles.

In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Forces detected and tracked 526 aerial threats:

  • 502 strike drones of the Shahed type and various drone imitators from the following areas: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea);
  • 16 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea area;
  • eight X-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov region and Krasnodar Krai.

The attacks were repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM on September 3, preliminary data indicates that air defense has destroyed/suppressed 451 aerial targets:

  • 430 UAVs of the Shahed type and various drone imitators;
  • 14 Kalibr missiles;
  • seven X-101 missiles.

Impacts from three missiles and 69 strike drones were recorded at 14 locations, with debris from downed targets falling at 14 sites.

The Air Forces warned that the attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
