Yesterday, 100 artillery strikes were recorded in the Sumy region, resulting in injuries to a 62-year-old man.
This information was shared by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on their Telegram channel.
"From the morning of August 30 to the morning of August 31, 2025, there were 100 strikes across 36 settlements within 14 territorial communities of the region," the message states.
According to the regional administration, the most affected areas were Sumy, Shostka, and Konotop.
The enemy launched over 10 missile strikes; conducted about 20 drone bombings; and executed around 20 attacks using MLRS. Additionally, FPV drones were also employed in the assaults.
In Druzhba, a 62-year-old man was injured due to a drone strike, damaging a private residence.
In Putivl, private homes and a car were damaged, while in Shostka, a civilian infrastructure facility was affected.
The air raid alert lasted for 19 hours and 44 minutes in the region.
During the day, 5 people were evacuated from border communities.
