On the night of August 19, the Russian army launched a massive strike on the Poltava region – hits and debris fall were recorded in two districts, leaving more than 1,500 subscribers without power.
This was reported by the head of the OVA, Volodymyr Kohut, via Telegram.
“Last night, the enemy heavily attacked Poltava. Hits and debris falls were recorded in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts. Administrative buildings of local energy sector enterprises were affected,” he noted.
According to Kohut, there were no casualties, but in the Lubny district, 1,471 residential and 119 legal subscribers were left without electricity.
“Emergency service units and energy providers are working to mitigate the effects of the attack,” the head of the OVA concluded.
