On the night of August 13-14, Russian forces launched an assault using two S-300/400 surface-to-air missiles and 45 Shahed drones along with various imitation drones.
This was reported by the Air Force via Telegram.
The strike drones targeted frontline areas in Donetsk and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles struck Sumy.
Preliminary reports indicated that by 9:00 am, air defense managed to intercept and neutralize 24 enemy Shahed drones and imitators in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
There were 21 recorded hits on 12 different locations.
The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
