Russian forces launched an attack on a transportation infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in 12 people injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on his Telegram channel.
At 18:07, Fedorov confirmed the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia, stating that one area is filled with smoke.
Later, he wrote about two people injured as a result of the enemy strike on the transportation facility.
Subsequently, the number of injured rose to three, with their condition assessed as moderate.
At 18:52, the head of the Regional State Administration reported 8 injured, one of whom is in serious condition.
The condition of four individuals is considered moderate. The rescue operation is ongoing.
In a released video, Fedorov clarified that the enemy carried out two strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
“Rescuers are clearing the rubble. There is preliminary information that people may be trapped under the debris,” he said.
The second strike hit the university clinic of Zaporizhzhia Medical University. Currently, there are no casualties, but the health facility's buildings sustained damage.
As of 19:19, the number of injured has increased to 12.
