On the night of August 8, a Russian drone struck a civilian enterprise in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv, igniting a fire that spanned 500 square meters. Two civilians were injured in the incident.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service, along with comments from the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
Synegubov stated, "Around 23:55, we recorded a strike on the territory of the civilian enterprise. The roof and technical floor caught fire, covering an area of 500 square meters. The fire has been extinguished."
Details of the incident revealed that during the nighttime attack, two individuals—a man born in 1959 and a woman born in 1962—suffered acute stress reactions. They received the necessary medical assistance.
The State Emergency Service noted that the drone strike on the civilian enterprise in the Saltivskyi district resulted in a fire in a four-story office building, affecting the roof and technical floor structures.
To combat the fire, 50 rescuers, a bomb disposal unit from the State Emergency Service, and 13 units of equipment were deployed.
