«During the morning shelling by Russian troops, a 69-year-old local resident was injured. The man received medical assistance», - the message states.

The victim was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds and injuries to the leg and head.

An examination of the injured is currently underway.

Additionally, information emerged about a 21-year-old woman who was also injured. She has been diagnosed with a blast injury and a fracture of her right leg. Doctors are continuing to conduct examinations.

According to Alexander Prokudin, the head of the Kherson OVA, Russian forces shelled Kherson this morning using artillery. As a result, houses in the Korabelnyi district were damaged. A serious impact was noted on the home of an elderly woman who miraculously escaped injury. The central market also came under fire, with damage to several commercial stands.

In the evening of August 2, the Russian army dropped two guided bombs on Kherson, damaging a road bridge leading to the Korabel microdistrict and affecting three private houses and a multi-story building.
