In Kyiv, emergency recovery efforts are ongoing in areas affected by yesterday's attack. All search and rescue operations have been concluded, as confirmed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

«Currently, 31 people are reported dead, including five children. The youngest victim was only two years old. My condolences go out to the families and friends of the deceased. A total of 159 individuals were injured, with 16 of them being children», — stated the President.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that this vile attack by Russia indicates the need for increased pressure on Moscow and additional sanctions.

«No matter how much the Kremlin denies their effectiveness, they work and must be strengthened — we need to strike at everything that enables such attacks. It is crucial that the world does not remain silent. I thank everyone who supports our people. We appreciate that President Trump, European leaders, and our other partners clearly see what is happening and condemn Russia.

In July alone, the Russians launched over 5,100 guided bombs against Ukraine, more than 3,800 “Shaheds”, and nearly 260 missiles of various types, including 128 ballistic ones. Stopping this can only be achieved together: America, Europe, and other global actors. Every interaction matters. Every day is important. Thank you to everyone helping Ukraine», — wrote Zelensky, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims. He also thanked rescuers, police officers, doctors, nurses, and utility workers — all those currently assisting people.

The city is providing help to those who have lost property. 1,045 applications have been submitted for a payment of 10,000 hryvnias (such payments have been made by Kyiv since 2022 to all affected individuals). 37 people whose homes have been destroyed or severely damaged have applied for a one-time payment of 40,000 hryvnias, which the city provides for housing rent for 2 months. Afterwards, they will receive 20,000 monthly for renting accommodation while the city restores their homes.
