On the night of July 31, Ukraine faced a large-scale assault from Russia, involving 317 drones and missiles. Most of these were aimed at Kyiv, where air defense managed to neutralize 291 aerial threats, but unfortunately, there were casualties due to impacts and falling debris.

Starting from 6 PM on July 30, the enemy launched an attack:
- 309 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitator drones from the directions: Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
- 8 cruise missiles “Iskander-K” from the Kursk region.
The primary target of the attack was the capital of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 9 AM, air defense had intercepted or suppressed 291 enemy aerial threats:
- 288 strike drones;
- 3 cruise missiles “Iskander-K”.
There were 5 direct hits recorded (one of which hit a residential building in Kyiv) and 21 strike drones at 12 locations, as well as falling debris at 19 locations, most of which were in the capital.
