On the night of July 24, Mykolaiv faced an attack from enemy drones, leading to fires at two local enterprises.
This information was shared by the mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, via Telegram and the State Emergency Service.
The region declared an air alert due to the threat posed by attack drones.
Senkevych later reported that there were fires at the sites of enemy strikes.
Kim confirmed the fire incidents in Mykolaiv and stated that there were no reports of injuries at this time.
Updated report: In the morning, Kim announced that around 02:55, Russian forces attacked the city using Shahed-type drones. This resulted in fires at the warehouses of two companies due to combat operations and falling debris.
Rescue teams extinguished the flames over an area of 450 square meters. There are currently no reports of injuries.
