Over eight stages of a significant exchange, hundreds of Ukrainians have been returned home, including the wounded, civilians, and those who were missing.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on his Facebook page.

«Eight stages of a major exchange. Since early June, hundreds of our people have returned home. Our youth, defenders of Mariupol, and those who held the line in various regions such as Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv. The wounded and those in critical condition. Many were considered missing», the President emphasized.

According to Zelensky, most of the freed individuals had been in Russian captivity since 2022. Among those returned were not only military personnel but also civilians who became victims of the war.

The President highlighted that this is the result of coordinated efforts by a large team working daily to secure the release of every Ukrainian.

«We will continue to work until we bring everyone back, without exception», he stated.
