"The aggressor continues attempts to inflict damage on Kharkiv. In the past week, our city has faced 16 hostile attacks. Mostly, the enemy used "Shahed" drones, but now we have recorded the use of a new type called "Chernika". - he added.
The mayor explained that this drone is similar in combat payload to "Molniya", but has a different design. As a result of its strike, several vehicles in a garage cooperative were damaged.
Additionally, Terekhov noted that in total, four individuals were injured due to attacks on Kharkiv over the past week, including a child.
Explosions were reported in the Nemishlyansky, Kyiv, and Industrial districts. Both residential buildings and civilian enterprises sustained significant damage.
For reference: The "Chernika-2" UAV is distinguished by its greater resistance to electronic warfare systems. The drone flies to its target in automatic mode, but for improved accuracy, the control is taken over by a human operator for manual guidance.
