According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as of Tuesday evening, the massive attack by Russia on June 17 has resulted in 12 confirmed deaths: 10 in Kyiv and another two in Odesa.
"As of 5:30 PM, a total of 12 people have died due to the night strikes across Ukraine. Of these, 10 were in Kyiv and 2 individuals were recovered from the rubble in Odesa. Unfortunately, operational data is subject to change. During search and rescue operations, body parts may be discovered, which are initially counted as separate fatalities. Final confirmations are made by forensic experts after analysis in a mobile DNA laboratory". – stated the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko
The Minister noted that rescuers and police continue to work at the sites of strikes on residential infrastructure.
The rescue operation is ongoing at two locations in Kyiv. There are still people trapped under the rubble, so the work will not stop until everyone is found, – Klymenko assured.
