Ukraine has completed another phase of repatriation efforts, with 1200 bodies being returned.
Today's events were part of ongoing operations based on prior agreements. According to the Russian side, these bodies belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel.
In the coming days, law enforcement investigators, in collaboration with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will conduct necessary examinations to identify the repatriated bodies.
These repatriation actions were made possible through coordinated efforts from the Coordination Headquarters, the Joint Center, the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other state structures.
We express our sincere gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their assistance.
Special thanks to the personnel of the Central Command of the Armed Forces who are organizing the transportation of the bodies to specialized institutions.
