The honored artist of Ukraine and soloist of the Odesa National Opera, Vladislav Gorai, tragically passed away on June 8 while performing volunteer duties in Sumy region.

According to reports: "Today, June 8, while carrying out his volunteer mission in Sumy, the outstanding soloist of the Odesa National Opera, a world-class tenor, volunteer, father, a person with a big heart, and honored artist of Ukraine – Vladislav Gorai – lost his life."
Vladislav Vikentiyovych's voice was known worldwide, and his heart belonged to Ukraine. He was not just a talent on stage – he was an example of strength, dignity, and kindness in life. Even in the darkest times, he never stood aside – he helped, volunteered, and supported others.
Additional information: As noted on the website of the Odesa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, Vladislav Gorai was a laureate of the national chamber music competition in Khmelnytskyi and the Antonin Dvořák International Vocal Competition (Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic). He had been part of the opera troupe since 1993 and received the honorary title of Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2013. His repertoire included more than twenty operatic roles.
