Representatives from the international community arrived at the site of an enemy strike in the Solomyansky district of the capital to pay their respects to three Ukrainian rescuers who lost their lives while fulfilling their duties.

Diplomats from Denmark, Japan, Sweden, and a representative of a British charity expressed their solidarity with the Ukrainian rescuers who risk their lives every day. They visited the site of the missile strike that resulted in the deaths of these heroes.

Together with the Head of the State Emergency Service (SES) Andriy Danyk, the site was visited by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Denmark Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Ambassador of Japan Masashi Nakagome, First Secretary of the Swedish Embassy Sofia Westberg, and FIRE AID representative Edward Matthews.

This visit was not just a gesture of sympathy but also an opportunity for the diplomats to witness the scale of destruction and to express support for the rescuers who risk their lives daily.

The SES has received numerous letters of solidarity from international partners, including the European Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) and other organizations.

Residents of Kyiv have been bringing flowers and candles to the site of the tragedy, leaving words of gratitude for the fallen heroes.

Ukrainian rescuers remain a symbol of bravery, self-sacrifice, and professionalism, and their courage is recognized not only in Ukraine but far beyond its borders.
