Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that 307 Ukrainian soldiers have been successfully released from Russian captivity.

Direct quote from Zelensky: "This is the second day of the exchange process, following our agreement in Turkey for 1000 for 1000. In just these two days, we have managed to return 697 individuals. We expect further developments tomorrow."

Among those returned are members of our army, border guards, and national guards, including drone operators from the Unmanned Systems Forces.

According to the Coordination Headquarters, all 307 released individuals are men of private and sergeant ranks.

The returning servicemen include personnel from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Airborne Assault Forces, Naval Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard.

In this exchange, 27 defenders from Mariupol are returning home.

Overall, the returning Ukrainians fought in the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk directions.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had also received 307 of its personnel.

What preceded: On Friday, Ukraine and Russia conducted the first part of the 1000 for 1000 exchange agreement, managing to return 390 individuals, including 270 military personnel and 120 civilians.
