The Security Service of Ukraine has successfully destroyed Russian radar equipment and warehouses on gas extraction platforms in the Black Sea, thanks to surface and aerial drones, as reported by the SBU.
"Employees of the 13th Main Directorate of the Military Counterintelligence Department conducted a combined operation using sea and air drones. The operation aimed to eliminate Russian radar equipment located on Ukrainian gas extraction platforms," the agency stated.
It was noted that initially, one of the platforms was targeted by a drone from the air, followed by an attack from a marine drone. As a result of the operation, the radar system "Neva" was destroyed, which the enemy used to monitor air and surface conditions, along with warehouses and living quarters on the platform.
"Within a single operation, SBU specialists utilized two types of drones, demonstrating the effectiveness of their combined efforts. We once again reminded the enemy that no Russian scrap has a place in the Black Sea," the SBU added.
They also reminded that with the help of surface drones, the SBU managed to strike the Crimean Bridge and 11 Russian military ships, thereby reducing Russia's dominance in the Black Sea and restoring the grain corridor.
