Renowned Ukrainian actor and TV host Maxim Nelipa, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, tragically lost his life during the war against Russia.

“Our colleague, TV host Max Nelipa, died in battle,” she wrote, expressing her condolences to the family and friends of the fallen defender.

Maxim Nelipa died on May 12, at the age of 48.

He was widely recognized as a KVN player, entertainer, and host of many popular TV programs, including “People's Star”.

Maxim was also a participant in the projects of “Diesel Studio”.

In March 2022, after the full-scale Russian invasion began, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his country.

Who is Maxim Nelipa?

Maxim Nelipa first gained fame as a KVN star and later became a beloved figure among millions of Ukrainian viewers as the host of the lottery show “Who’s There?” on the channel 1+1.

Currently, it remains unclear whether any negotiations with Russia will take place.

In 2007, Maxim participated in the television project “Dancing with the Stars”, where his dance partner was the famous dancer Olena Shoptenko.

Since 2017, he joined the “Diesel Show” team and actively participated in various comedic projects of “Diesel Studio”, bringing laughter and positive emotions to the audience.

With the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia in 2022, Maxim voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In January 2025, while on a combat mission at the front, he sustained injuries.

After several surgeries in Dnipro and undergoing rehabilitation, he returned to service to continue defending his country.
