The mobile app "Diia" has launched a new section "Compensation for Construction" as part of the "eRecovery" program.

This was reported by the press service of "Diia".

"If your house was destroyed due to combat actions, you can build a new one on your land with state support under the "eRecovery" program," the announcement states.

It is noted that this service is available to those who lost their private homes as a result of combat actions and have land available for new construction. Building is only permitted on controlled territory where there are no active combat actions.

To receive compensation:

1. Submit a compensation application through Diia or at a local administrative service center. After review, the compensation amount will be assigned and displayed in Diia.

2. Register the start of construction works on the Diia portal or at the local administrative service center.

3. After receiving the compensation, cancel the ownership rights to the destroyed property.

4. Submit a payment request in the Diia app: Services → eRecovery → Compensation for Construction.

You'll need to update your banking details and select the construction object according to the previously submitted notification.

Payments are made in two installments of 50%. The first installment must be spent 90% and confirmed in "Diia". It should be used within 18 months, and both installments within 36 months from the receipt of the first. Otherwise, the payment will revert to the state.

Reminder:

Through "Diia", you can submit an application to the Registry of Damages for compensation for emotional pain and suffering due to the loss of a close family member.

Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can file six additional categories of claims in the international Registry of Damages via "Diia".

The "Diia" app has added an excerpt from the Registry of Damaged and Destroyed Property regarding the fact of housing destruction or submitted application for eRecovery.
